摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce traffic by terminating a terminal capability exchange, which is exchanged between communication terminals under ordinal circumstances, at a call session control function unit.

SOLUTION: A communication network system including an IMS network comprises a call session control function (CSCF) unit and a communication terminal staying in a processing region of the call session control function unit. The call session control function unit includes: a registration unit for registering capability information of the communication terminal in association with the communication terminal; and a substitution unit for substituting for the communication terminal to respond to an inquiry of the capability information to the communication terminal via the call session control function unit by use of the capability information registered with the registration unit.
