<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recommend an application which fulfills the needs of a user at timing convenient to the user. <P>SOLUTION: A server apparatus includes an event-information receiver configured to receive, from an information terminal, information for identifying an event in which a user of the information terminal desires to participate.
