<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not an object appeared at a boundary of a panoramic video is an immobile body by autonomous processing of a plurality of monitoring cameras. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring device combines videos acquired by two monitoring cameras 21 and 22 to construct a panoramic video, and monitors an immobile body by using this panoramic video. The two monitoring cameras 21 and 22 detect an object and generate object information. One monitoring camera, when detecting an object contacting with an outer periphery of the video, determines whether or not a presence time period of the detected object satisfies an immobile body condition. In the case that the presence time period satisfies the immobile body condition, the one monitoring camera receives the object information generated by the other monitoring camera 22, couples the received object information with the object information generated by the one camera 21 itself to generate new object information, and determines whether or not the size of the object satisfies the immobile body condition by using the generated new object information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
