METHOD FOR DRAINING SMALL PELVIS IN LOW RESECTIONS OF RECTUM

A method for draining small pelvis in low resections of rectum comprises the drainage from two sites. Following fashioning large bowel anastomosis and transanal decompression intubation of the large bowel, the cavity of the small pelvis is drained on the right pararectally. The drainage tube is passed onto anterior lateral rectal wall and fixed pararectally. Then the through opening in the abdominal wall is cut on the left. The second drainage tube is passed maximally downward to the hollow of sacrum via posterior lateral rectal wall. The rubber drainage is placed in parallel to the tubular one. The anastomosis is covered with parietal peritoneum. The drainages are fixed to the skin onto the anterior abdominal wall.
