PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to decrease the number of components and an assembly process and reduce a size. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor(700) includes a bearing assembly(100), a base plate(200), a stator(300), a rotator(400), and an absorption magnet(500). The bearing assembly includes a bearing(110); a bearing housing(120) which receives the bearing; and a fixing unit(130) which includes a fixing part, which is located between the bearing and the bearing housing, and a flange part which is protruded to the outside of the bearing housing from the fixing part. A base plate(200) fixes the bearing housing of the bearing assembly. The stator is fixed to an outer circumference surface of the bearing housing. The rotator is connected to a rotation axis which is connected to the bearing. The absorption magnet is arranged on the rotator and the flange part.
