PURPOSE: An assisting unit attached seating apparatus is provided to facilitate standing and seating of a person as a seating unit is ascended up to a position for easily standing up, and is descended up to a position for easily seating. CONSTITUTION: An assisting unit attached seating apparatus comprises a standup assisting unit, an operational unit, a direction change unit, a base(20) and a prior stopping unit. A standup assisting unit helps the standing-up of a person who is seating on a seating unit(10). The operational unit ascends the standup assisting unit. The direction change unit changes the direction of the seating person who is seating on the seating unit by rotating the seating unit. The base is installed on an installation part of the seating apparatus. The prior stopping unit stops the ascending or the descending while the standup assisting unit is ascent or descent. The direction change unit enables the rotation the seating unit if the seating unit is installed on the installation part and is not able to rotate if the seating unit is separated from the installation part.
