PURPOSE: A smart water meter with integrated chambers and a controlling method thereof are provided to hold a flow of water with a plurality of the chambers, thereby reducing errors generated when measuring a water quality and a flow rate. CONSTITUTION: A smart water meter with integrated chambers comprises a body unit(110), a sensor unit(200), and a head unit(300). The body includes a plurality of the chambers. The sensor unit, which is arranged in the body unit, measures parameters related to water. The head unit, which is connected to the body unit, stores power by generating the power with a flow of the water inside the body unit and processes data measured by the sensor.
