<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize, without impairing the safety, capacity reduction due to operation of a fuse function, in a film capacitor in which a metallized film constituting a capacitor element is provided with the fuse function. <P>SOLUTION: A metallized film capacitor comprises: a plurality of split electrodes divided so as to be aligned in a lengthwise direction of a dielectric film; and a connection having a fuse function between the split electrodes and a first electrode connected to an external electrode. At least one or more connections are provided on the split electrodes, and the connection are connected to each of the split electrodes such that total dimensions in the lengthwise direction of the dielectric film on the connection connected to one of the split electrodes may be at least two or more different dimensions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
