摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a methacrylic resin, which has excellent transparency and a color and is excellent with little defects such as fisheyes when forming a film, by suspension polymerization of a single methyl methacrylate or a monomer mixture containing methyl methacrylate as one component. <P>SOLUTION: A methacrylic resin suitable for an optical film can be produced by suspension polymerization of a single methyl methacrylate or a monomer mixture containing methyl methacrylate as one component with the addition of a polymeric dispersant (A) expressed by general formula (1) and an organic salt (B) and/or inorganic salt comprising an alkali metal salt, alkaline earth metal salt or ammonium salt. In the formula, n represents a proportion corresponding to 10 to 60 mol%; m represents a proportion corresponding to 40 to 90 mol%; R1 represents hydrogen or a methyl group; R2 represents a 1-8C alkyl group; M represents an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or NH<SB POS="POST">4</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
