<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processor for executing video automatic correction. <P>SOLUTION: A video processor determines the maximum brightness value and minimum brightness valve of an input video, and performs the histogram stretching of the input video for each area by using the maximum brightness value and the minimum brightness value. In this case, the level of the histogram stretching of each area is differently applied in accordance with the brightness distribution of each area. This video processor includes: a color space changing part for generating a monotone video by changing the color space of the input video; an area division part for dividing the monotone video into a plurality of areas; and a processing part for performing the histogram stretching of each area to each of the plurality of areas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
