<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article inspection device capable of reliably and automatically changing an operation mode to an operation confirmation mode without making a device configuration complicated. <P>SOLUTION: The article inspection device includes a carrying-in sensor 50 (first carrying-in sensor 51, second carrying-in sensor 52) provided in a conveyance part 2 to detect the passage of a conveyed object W to be inspected, and a control unit 8 for changing an operation mode from a normal inspection mode for inspecting the object W to be inspected to an operation confirmation mode for performing operation confirmation of an inspection unit 3 on the basis of detection timing at which the carrying-in sensor 50 detects the passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
