<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine having sterilizing and deodorant functions, which diffuses modified air evenly throughout the inside of a washing tab by using an air current and negative pressure generated by rotation of the washing tub to increase a supply amount of the modified air to be supplied into the washing tub without using large-sized air-blowing means. <P>SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a washing tub 1 having an opening 1a at one end; a housing 2 for housing the washing tub 1 and having a housing opening 2a through which laundry is taken out and put from and into the washing tub 1; a lid 3 disposed at the housing 2, for opening and closing the housing opening 2a; and a modified air-supplying device 4 disposed at the outside of the washing tub 1 and having a blow-out opening 42b for supplying the modified air into the washing tub 1. The blow-out opening 42b is positioned to a rotation center side of the washing tub 1 from a side wall 11 in which the opening 1a of the washing tub 1 is formed, and the modified air is supplied from the blow-out opening 42b in a direction along a rotational direction of the washing tub 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
