<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a more stable black level. <P>SOLUTION: In a frame transfer type CCD solid state image sensor having a plurality of pixels arranged in matrix form including N lines of optical black pixel rows (N=integer equal to or greater than 2), transfer control is exerted in such a way that when electric charges of optical black pixels transferred from a vertical transfer section to a horizontal transfer section are transferred from the vertical transfer section to the horizontal transfer section, electric charges of N-1 lines of optical black pixels transferred first are not transferred to the horizontal transfer section, but electric charges of the last one line of optical black pixels are transferred to the horizontal transfer section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
