<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of acquiring an image for detecting a viewpoint with excellent accuracy, and a viewpoint detection device provided therewith. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 60 used for viewpoint detection comprises: an imaging unit 20 that captures a subject 2 being a person to acquire a captured image; a light source 10 that emits light toward the subject 2; and a parallel luminous flux optical system 11 that is disposed on a light emission side of the light source 10, and emits the light from the light source 10 to the subject 2 as parallel light.
