PURPOSE: A DPP-based dye is provided to have excellent solubility, to improve color purity, and to prevent decrease of brightness by having high toughness. CONSTITUTION: A DPP-based dye is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, each of A1 and A2 is independently Cl, CN, CF3, NO2, COY, COOY, N(CH3)2, N(CH2CH3)2, NHCH3, or NHCH2CH3; Y is H or C1-C15 alkyl group; R1 is a functional group represented by chemical formula 1-a; Z is O or S; R2 is hydrgeon or a C1-C5 alkyl group; and n is an integer from 1-5.
