<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for incorporating a fall detector and an alarm in a safety belt capable of automatically issuing an alarm by detecting a fall, and being easily attached to the existing safety belt. <P>SOLUTION: The alarm 2 for issuing an alarm is fixed to a belt 3 of the safety belt A that is formed by connecting a lanyard base part 54 to a shock absorber 4, and a switch 21 of the alarm 2 is linked to the lanyard base part 54 with the fall detector 1 formed from a cord body. If, by any possibility, a worker falls, the shock absorber 4 is detached and extends by an impact load in falling, the fall detector 1 moves with the detachment and extension, and in conjunction therewith, a switch 21 of the alarm 2 is turned on.
