<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a file from becoming unbrowsable because an attendant without access right to the file has logged in a conference terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A conference system identifies a user provided with an access right to a shared folder to be used for a conference from among users to attend the conference and informs in advance of the start of the conference the attendants of the identified user as a log-in user of a conference terminal.
