<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing a lubricant from flowing into the portion whose temperature is detected by a temperature detection member, of a nip plate. <P>SOLUTION: A nip plate 130 includes: a plate-like part 131 forming a nip part; a lubricant regulation part 133 formed in at least a part of the edge on the downstream side in a conveyance direction, of the plate-like part 131 and extending inward in the radial direction of a cylindrical member (fixing belt 110); and a detected part 134 which extends to one side in a direction along the conveyance direction from the edge (upper edge 133A) of the lubricant regulation part 133 and whose temperature is detected by a temperature detection member 400. The detected part 134 is formed to be shorter than the plate-like part 131 in the axial direction of the cylindrical member and the whole of both edges 134A and 134B of the detected part 134 in the axial direction of the cylindrical member is adjacent to space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
