TERMINAL DEVICE, TERMINAL AUTHENTICATION METHOD, TERMINAL PROGRAM AND TERMINAL SETTING STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device, a terminal authentication method, a terminal program and a terminal setting storage medium which exclude possibility of information leakage on a higher level than before and are more convenient than before.

SOLUTION: A terminal performs individual authentication processing for the terminal after boot processing of a thin client OS which is stored in a thin client storage medium 104. If a MAC address does not match any of MAC addresses which are preliminarily registered in a MAC address list 214 stored in a tamper-resistant medium region 203, execution of a thin client function is stopped. By this configuration, possibility of information leakage can be reduced. Also, labor to select environment setting in a login operation can be omitted by associating the MAC address acquired in hardware identification processing with a plurality of pieces of environment setting information. Thus setting for display resolution and a network is automatically performed before the login operation, and it becomes possible to connect to a desired server by selecting a desired VPN only with the login operation.
