<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of successive printing in a no-margin printing mode without causing the occurrence of stains on the back side caused by toner spilled out from a recording material and a reduction in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus, a controller unit controls a movement mechanism 80 and an image forming unit when successive printing is performed in an execution state of a non-margin printing mode. The controller unit controls a transfer position of a recording material S and a position of a toner image formed by the image forming unit relative to a secondary transfer unit to move to a side having small amount of data among the image data amount corresponding to both ends of the recording material in a width direction within a range equal to or less than the size of the recording material in the width direction that is orthogonal to a recording material conveyance direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
