<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved information processor and an information processing method capable of removing the noise component from a high sensitivity image more efficiently and effectively. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor includes: an image acquisition unit acquiring a low sensitivity image generated by imaging accompanied by flash, and a high sensitivity image generated by imaging not accompanied by flash; a difference image generation unit generating a difference image indicating the pixel difference value, i.e., the difference value between the pixel value of the low sensitivity image and the pixel value of the high sensitivity image, for every pixel; a noise image generation unit generating a noise image indicating the noise component in the high sensitivity image, for every pixel, on the basis of the difference image; and a noise removal unit removing the noise component from the high sensitivity image on the basis of the high sensitivity image and the noise image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
