<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To back up data with consistency in timing for a plurality of copy sessions without lowering an I/O processing performance. <P>SOLUTION: A storage device includes: a copy processing unit 12 for storing a copy of copy origin data of a copy origin volume to a copy destination volume; a copy execution management unit (session definition unit) 13 for making copy execution preparations for copy processing and setting the copy processing to a copy execution standby state; an activation management unit 14 for setting activation object information to the copy processing specified by an activation instruction from a host device 2; and a copy control unit (asynchronous activation control unit) 15 for canceling the copy execution standby state for the copy processing in the copy execution standby state to which the activation object information is set, and making the copy processing unit 12 execute the copy processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
