PURPOSE: A terminal device for a card settlement system which uses a mobile terminal operating system is provided to conduct credit card settlement only using input/output operations necessary for payment by installing a settlement application required for card settlement in a VAN (Value Added Network) server, and transmitting a request to a card inquiry terminal device of a member store. CONSTITUTION: A terminal device includes: an API (Application Programming Interface) which matches a settlement application installed in a server; a microcomputer which drives the hardware of the terminal device regarding a command transmitted by the settlement application via the API; a device driving interface unit; and a dedicated device control browser. The dedicated device control browser sends requests to input user information (S200) required for settlement by showing a transmitted message. The message is generated by an android operating system of the settlement application installed in the server using HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language).
