FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: method to remove icicles and snow drifts consists in the fact that a jet of overheated dry saturated high-pressure steam is supplied to the base of icicles or a hanging part of the snow drift, which damages the ice mass of the icicle or the snow layer. The icicle and the snow mass separated from the cornice drop into a hopper brought directly underneath. The device for removal of icicles and snow drifts includes: a lift with a working platform, which is brought to the place of icicles (snow drifts) location; a mobile steam generator, which generates overheated dry saturated high-pressure steam, which along a hose is supplied into a gun with a tip attachment; a hopper arranged directly under cut icicles (snow drift), with a hatch for discharge of icicles and snow from the hopper.EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.2 cl, 5 dwg |
