PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent a defect generated by moving a rotor with external impact or vibration. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor(600) includes a bearing assembly(100), a stator(300), a rotation axis(400), a rotator(500), and an absorption magnet(550). The spindle motor includes a base plate(200) which fixes the bearing assembly. The bearing assembly includes a bearing(110) and a bearing housing(120) which receives the bearing. The stator includes a core(310) and a coil(330) which is wound on the core. The rotation axis is inserted into the bearing. The rotator includes a yoke(510) which is connected to the rotation axis and a magnet(520) which is connected to the yoke. A magnet receiving unit(560) forms a receiving groove(555) which receives the absorption magnet in the yoke.
