PURPOSE: A thermal-electric metal powder and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a reaction of the sprayed droplets with oxygen fundamentally by repeating a process purging evaporated gas for maintaining the amount of oxygen remained inside a spraying chamber at 30ppm or less, thereby omitting a degasifying process in a molding process. CONSTITUTION: A thermal-electric metal powder manufacturing method comprises: a furnace(11) of a gas spraying device is connected to a transfer pipe by a method of transferring molten steel from the furnace to an orifice through a nozzle. The molten steel is pressed by unalive gas applied to the furnace and transferred to the pipe so that particles of the powder become fine and a spherical shape. The oxidation of the molten steel is suppressed by using a melting chamber with a U-shaped pipe instead of a stopper. A gas recycle system is utilized for suppressing the oxidation of the surface of the metal powder. An oxidation limit of the metal powder is 100ppm or less, and the chemical composition thereof is uniform. The average size of the metal powder is 42μm or less, and the shape thereof is spherical.
