<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which has improved safety. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary battery in one embodiment of the present invention includes an electrode assembly, a case to accommodate the electrode assembly, a cap plate to cover an opening in the case, and a current collector member. The current collector member includes a current collection part fastened to the electrode assembly, a terminal fastening part extending from the current collection part in a corner part of the current collector member which is extended in a first direction along the width direction of the current collector member, and a fuse part.
