<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which can prevent shorting between a collector plate and a fastening plate and breakage of the collector plate in a cable connection part, and can also facilitate assembly work. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell in an embodiment comprises: a fuel cell laminate 1 consisting of a plurality of unit cells laminated one on another; a conductive collector plate 2 disposed at opposite ends of the laminate 1; a fastening plate 3 which fastens the laminate 1 and the collector plate 2 together to hold them in place; an insulation plate 14 provided between the collector plate 2 and the fastening plate 3, partly without contacting the fastening plate 3; a connection metal fixture 13, connected to a cable 9, which is electrically connected to the collector plate 2; and fixing members 8 and 11 which are disposed between the fastening plate 2 and part of the insulation plate 14. The fixing members 8 and 11 are designed to press the connection metal fixture 13 against the collector plate 2 via part of the insulation plate 14 to fix it there while the connection metal fixture 13 is being held between part of the insulation plate 14 and the collector plate 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
