<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly charge a battery and use the charged power in response to a power storage amount of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 10 comprises: a switching switch 103 for switching so as to supply power to the image forming device 10 from an external power source or a battery 201; a screen printing unit 1 for printing on the basis of a print job; a mode setting unit 109b for setting either a normal mode or an energy saving mode; a calculation unit 109a for calculating a normal necessary power amount required for performing a print job in the normal mode; a device control unit 109c for controlling the screen printing unit 1 on the basis of the mode set by the mode setting unit 109b; and a mode selection unit 109e for causing the mode setting unit 109b to set the energy saving mode when the power storage amount calculated by the calculation unit 109a is less than the normal necessary power amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
