<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor in which an electromagnetic coil can be inserted into a magnetic powder mixed resin in a short time while reducing the load applied to the electromagnetic coil, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic powder mixed resin 30, produced by mixing powder of a magnetic body and an insulating resin, is stored in a housing case 4. A cylindrical insertion body 10 having an electromagnetic coil 2 is then inserted into the magnetic powder mixed resin 30 while rotating around the axis (a). A spiral groove 6 is formed in at least one of the outer peripheral surface 12 and the inner peripheral surface of the insertion body 10.
