<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device A of an electromagnetic induction heating system, capable of reducing change of temperature distribution in a longer direction of an image heating member, reducing electric power consumption, down-sizing the device, and efficiently heating the image heating member. <P>SOLUTION: When a direction orthogonal to a recording material conveyance direction a is defined as a width direction in a plane of a conveyance path of recording material, magnetic flux adjustment means 6 comprises: a housing 6a for housing magnetic fluid 12; magnetic fluid regulation members 8L, 8R which can move in the width direction of the housing, and which regulate existence area width of the magnetic fluid in the housing; and regulation member movement means 17 for moving the magnetic fluid regulation members.
