<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake in which slidability of a caliper can be ensured relative to a mounting member. <P>SOLUTION: A pin insertion part 31 of the mounting member 10 of the disk brake 1 is integrally connected to project from the outer peripheral surface of a connection part 30 outwardly in the radial direction of a disk rotor 2, and the tip of an insertion hole 31a of the pin insertion part 31 is located on the inside of a vehicle relative to an outer part 20. Consequently, the action of braking torque on the pin insertion part 31 of the mounting member 10 can be restrained, and as a result, the interference of a slide pin 15 with the inner wall surface of the pin insertion hole 31a can be restrained.
