<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete configuration of a card-like processing device which ensures operability for a user when storing a card-like medium into a card storage part, can prevent a card-like medium stored in the card storage part from coming off the card storage part, and can effectively prevent a card-like medium from coming off the card storage part when subjecting the card-like medium to prescribed processing. <P>SOLUTION: A card-like medium processing device 1 includes a card storage part 3 for storing therein a card 2, a holding part 4 for holding the card storage part 3 slidably between a card storage position and a card processing position, and a spring member 13 to be brought into contact with the card 2 stored in the card storage part 3.
