<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus in which, when supplying content allowed to be moved or transferred so as to be copied or viewed simultaneously for viewing using a portable terminal device, it can be identified easily where a program to be viewed is recorded, and a content recording method. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus comprises a recording section, a transmission request processing section, a transmission content holding section and a list holding section. The recording section holds content. The transmission request processing section receives a transmission request of content. In response to the transmission request received by the transmission request processing section, the transmission content holding section holds content which are allowed to be transmitted to a device transmitting the transmission request and which can be played by the device transmitting the transmission request.
