PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF CALCIUM CARBONATE

A process for the preparation of calcium carbonate comprises burning of carbonate raw material and slaking of lime with water. After that carbonization of lime milk with carbon dioxide and filtration of chalk suspension are carried out. Then drying of calcium carbonate paste is carried out. Before the supply to the carbonizer the lime milk is treated with direct steam in magnetic field.
