AIR DEFLECTOR FOR WIND POWER UNIT WITH VERTICAL AXIS OF ROTATION

摘要

An air deflector for a wind power unit with vertical axis of rotation installed on a wind wheel with vertical axle has device for increase of coefficient of wind energy utilization. Air flow that falls on the deflector acts in reverse direction, with rotation of blades motion of which in the case of usual design is directed in opposite direction with respect to air flow, this leads to increase of coefficient of wind energy use and effectiveness of the windmill operation.
