PURPOSE: A continuously variable automatic transmission is provided to omit a power transmission axis by changing power of an engine into counterturned power through a compound planetary gear set and a planetary gear set. CONSTITUTION: Power of an engine is transferred to a first input shaft(10). The power of the engine is transferred to a second input shaft(20) from the first input shaft. A belt driving part is installed between the first input shaft and the second input shaft. A compound planetary gear set(50) is connected to the second input shaft. A planetary gear set reduces the power of the engine transferred from the compound planetary gear set. A friction member is installed on the compound planetary gear set and the planetary gear set. |
