<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of stably achieving higher output under a low-humidity condition or a non-humidified condition. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a catalyst layer for a fuel cell comprises the steps of: manufacturing a first modification by modifying a carrier 1 with a cation functional group; manufacturing a second modification by modifying the first modification with an acid functional group and an acid ion; manufacturing a processed catalyst by modifying the second modification with a modification group having hydrophilicity; preparing a prepaste by blending the processed catalyst with water; and preparing a catalyst paste by blending the prepaste with a polymer electrolyte solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
