<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna used for UWB radar, particularly a UWB electron scan array antenna, capable of scanning beam in two dimensional direction, including one dimensional direction, being of low cost and possible to be provided in IC. <P>SOLUTION: A UWB electron scan array antenna is constituted by connecting an impulse generator to each element of a two dimensional array antenna consisting of an X axis array and a Y axis array. Control information of an antenna element corresponding to an arbitrary X axis array and Y axis array is inputted in an information addition circuit. An addition signal available from the input control information is used to generate a delay time signal. The delay time signal obtained is made to operate as a trigger of an impulse generator. By changing a timing of impulse waves emitted from each antenna element, the beam direction radiated from the two dimensional array antenna is controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
