PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film which is provided with a hard coat layer having high adhesion even though an ultraviolet blocking function is imparted to a resin film in which no compatible layer can be designed.

SOLUTION: There is provided a hard coat film 100 having a hard coat layer 120 on a surface of a resin film 110. The hard coat layer 120 has an ultraviolet blocking function and is formed by using a hard coat layer-forming material containing an ultraviolet reactive resin and a solvent, no compatible layer is formed at the interface between the resin film 110 and the hard coat layer 120, a surface 110a having the hard coat layer 120 of the resin film 110 is subjected to surface modification treatment, and the reactive resin at the interface of the side of the resin film 110 of the hard coat layer has a reaction ratio of 55% or more.
