<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a plurality of electric signals to optical signals by parallel processing with reduced power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An electrical-optical conversion device includes: a light source unit 11 comprising light emitting diodes 11a of which the number is smaller than the number of data signals Da1, Da2, and Da3 and a clock signal CKa; and optical shutters 12a, 12b, 12c, and 12d arranged correspondingly to the data signals Da1, Da2, and Da3 and clock signal CKa respectively, of which the number is equal to the number of these electric signals. Respective optical shutters 12 are switched from one of a transmission state of transmitting light L emitted from the light source unit 11 and an intercepting state of intercepting the light L to the other or switches from the other to the one in accordance with signal contents of corresponding electric signals, whereby the electric signals are converted to optical signals by parallel processing and the optical signals are outputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
