<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch capable of improving durability to a pressing force of an operation member while meeting a requirement for miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: A push switch 1 is mounted on a circuit board 50. A insulative case 2 has a wall defining a recess 2a. Conductive members 11, 12 have: first portions 11c, 12c embedded in the wall; and second portions 11b, 12b arranged in the recess 2a as stationary electrodes 3a, 3b. A movable electrode 5 is arranged in the recess 2a, and can be displaced between a first position at which it is in contact with the stationary electrode 3b, and a second position at which it is isolated from the stationary electrode 3b. An operation member 7 moves in a direction parallel to the circuit board 50 by a pressing force from the outside, and displaces the movable electrode 5 from the second position to the first position.
