摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of enhancing a presentation effect by changing presentation symbols without impairing a player's sense of expectancy for a jackpot. <P>SOLUTION: A subordinate CPU determines symbols to be stopped/displayed for respective presentation symbols when the variable display of presentation symbols is started. The subordinate CPU executes such control as to stop/display the same presentation symbols (ready-to-win symbols) for a left presentation symbol and a right presentation symbol, and to exchange any one of variably displayed center presentation symbols with a specific presentation symbol to be displayed. The presentation symbol to be exchanged with the specific presentation symbol is determined based on ready-to-win symbols and a center presentation symbol specified to be stopped. When a jackpot is made, the same symbol as the ready-to-win symbols is not exchanged with the specific presentation symbol.
