PURPOSE: A composition containing a Panax notoginsengs extract and a chlorella extract for promoting growth is provided to ensure excellent taste and preference without side effects, and to improve skeletal growth and immunity. CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting growth contains 0.01-10 wt% of a Panax notoginsengs extract and 0.01-10 wt% of chlorella growth factors(CGF). The Panax notoginsengs extract and chlorella growth factors are mixed in a ratio of 1:5-1:50. A food composition for promoting growth contains the composition.
