FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for preparing granulated maltitol and to granulated maltitol prepared by said method. The declared method involves preparing maltitol syrup wherein the maltitol content makes more than 70%, introducing a layer of powdered crystalline maltitol containing 99% of maltitol into a granulating machine with a fluid bed and adjusting an input temperature of the granulating machine at 100-120°C. Those are followed by mist-spraying the maltitol syrup over the powdered layer consisting of two movable particles of crystalline maltitol, drying by air temperature rise and cooling prepared granulated maltitol to 20-25°C. Maltitol prepared as described above has the purity of 97% and more and the water content less than 1%, the compressibility of 300-500 H and the hygroscopic property of 0.15-2.5%.EFFECT: invention provides preparing granulated maltitol with the high compressibility, the low hygroscopic property and the high purity.12 cl, 5 tbl, 2 ex |
