PURPOSE: A file transmission device is provided to conveniently transmit files regardless of a communication state of the reception terminal by receiving files from a server. CONSTITUTION: A reception transceiver(410) transmits and deceives data. A reception storage unit(430) stores file information for a file which is uploaded to a content server by a reception terminal. A reception control unit(420) receives the file information in an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) message method from an originating terminal through the transceiver. The reception control unit transmits the received file information to the reception terminal. When the response time of the reception time is over, the reception control unit stores the file information in the storage unit. When the communication of the reception terminal is available, the reception control unit transmits the stored file information to the reception terminal through the transceiver.
