A connector for connecting end parts of two cylindrical pipes in a sealing manner is formed by two half fixtures (3), both the two half fixtures (3) are provided with two relative connecting flanges (4); the connecting flanges (4) of the half fixtures (3) are connected together via fastening devices (5); under a mounting condition, the fastening devices fix the connecting flanges (4) via winding the end parts (2) of the pipes; the connector (1) accommodates a sealing part (8) kept between the two half fixtures (3), and at least one section-shaped clamping part (9) is placed on the two sides of the sealing part (8); and the clamping part (9) is kept between the half fixtures (3). The connector has the advantages that with the sealing part and the clamping part, perfect sealing is obtained, and extra grooves or bulges are not required.
