The method involves providing a transmitter (12) and a receiver (20), and allowing a mobile equipment (2) e.g. cell phone, to be electromagnetically coupled with the transmitter when the transmitter is aligned on a reception surface (10) of a charger support (1). A control interface is provided between the support and the equipment in a state in which the equipment slides easily over the support when the equipment is arranged on the support. The interface is in another state in which the equipment and the support are dependent to each other when the transmitter and the receiver are aligned. An independent claim is also included for a support.
