<p>The cable has a central electrical conductor (1), a semiconductive screen (2), an electrically insulating layer (3), another semiconductive screen (4), a metal screen (5) and an external sheath (6) of electrically insulating material from inside to outside of the cable. The material of the sheath includes polyethylene in which calcium carbonate i.e. chalk, is dispersed in powder form containing calcium and/or silicon, where the chalk has average particle size between 1.5 and 5 micrometers. The metal screen includes a strip of aluminum with a thickness ranging between 150 and 200 micrometers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing the cable.</p> |
