The device has a sealed membrane (2) adhered to a fixing plate (1) on a central zone (10), where a surface of the sealed membrane is higher than a surface of the fixing plate. The fixing plate is made of rigid material e.g. galvanized or stainless metal. The fixing plate comprises a perforated connection element (4) provided in a central zone. The fixing plate comprises open holes (3) in a zone comprised between the adhesion surface and an edge of the fixing plate. The fixing plate is fixed to a roof by fasteners passing through the holes. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a support on a roof by using a sealed device.
